The Classic Engineer is a rugged boot with deep Red Wing roots. Leather straps and brass buckles stand out with free-spirited style, and convenient pull-on construction and exceptional comfort make for a favorite everyday boot. The Classic Engineer is descended from Red Wing boots that were built in the first half of the 20th century for engineers working on American railroads. Today, the womens Classic Engineer is made with soft leather and a polyurethane Traction Tred outsole for incredible out-of-the-box comfort. Leather straps and brass buckles secure the boot and give it give it the same rugged feel as the original legend of the railyard. The Classic Engineer is built with durable Puritan triple stitching and a fully resoleable Goodyear welt.
